No big news!

I haven't posted in a while, but I guess my life has just become so "normal" or "routine" here and I don't have much major news for you! It's Sunday morning, and I just finished reading the paper and drinking coffee. I am planning on going to the gym pretty soon, running errands this afternoon, and possibly looking at some apartments. My thoughts were that I would move out May 1st, but have decided June 1st would be a better option, being that I will be in Vegas for 6 days!! I am getting really excited for that, and am even planning on going to a Cirque De show amongst the other festivities!

Yesterday, it hit 80 degrees here!!! Whoo hoo!! I spend the morning working. I was asked on Friday if I would go to an "open house type event", and thought it would be a good opportunity to learn a little more about what our loan consultants do to get business while out of the office. It was pretty crazy! They had buses full of people that they drove around to different condos in different areas, where I at representing Countrywide for a finance option or preferred lender for the properties. My job is getting "easier" everyday as I continue to learn and am beginning to understand the whole loan process and am even able to answer some questions. I have had many "Oh- I get it!" moments. I have been working on a project since my pretty much my start date of getting our office expanded which included an addition to our current office about 3 doors down from us and 22 floors up. I can finally say that it is fully functional now, with employees working up there with computers, phones, furniture...the whole 9 yards. So, that was really exciting for me. On to the next project now!! Working to outsource and create a database program to manage our business more efficiently!

Anyways, since it was so nice yesterday. I was invited and decided to make an appearance at Carley's aunt Lisa's BIRTHDAY BASH! A BBQ. (Carley and Megan are in AZ right now) I now realize that Carley's family is just as crazy as mine! I knew it was going to get out of control when they got out the Tequila shot necklaces! (8 individual bottles of tequila hooked onto each necklace) This is where I have to say, Does every family have a crazy aunt Lisa??? (Just Kidding Auntie Lisa - I love you!) We had a great time and I made it home to find Mr. Diego (the cat) back home! This little shit - had been missing for a day and I was worried he was out hungry somewhere, not to mention I didn't know how I was going to explain that one to Megan and Carley! Well actually, I had called Megan and Carley and was told he does this sometimes, but it was still disturbing!
