Hello there!

I just logged on to give an update and my phone rang. It was my friend Lindsay, telling me, "Katie - I swear I just saw you on tv. Where you anywhere there was cameras wearing your black coat?" I kinda thought she was crazy when she said it, but starting thinking and said, "Well there were some cameras at the science museum that Carley, Megan and I went to and then I vaguely remember signing a form. But, who reads the dotted lines??? Anyways, I turned on the TV and yep, sure enough there was Megan, Carley and I. Totally FAMOUS!!!! hehe. Kinda funny....because we were listening to a lip reader and you know my look - the one that says I don't believe shit you are saying!! All skeptical!

Anyways, I heard it was super cold in MN, and would just like to share that it was over 50 degrees today here!! HAHA!! January is the coldest month, so I guess we are starting to warm up!

Other news...Ummmm, I joined the gym. I went last Tuesday for the first time over lunch for a "conditioning" class with Megan. I specifically asked her, "am I going to sweat, because I have to go back to work?" Oh no, not likely - it is pretty light. Well, lets just say her first words when we entered the room went something in the lines of, "oh - this isn't the person that usually teaches the class!" Needless to say, the next day I could barely move! It hurt to lift my arms up to shampoo my hair! Every step I took, I could feel every muscle in my legs tighten up and it felt as though I was going to collapse. If I laughed, I could feel the bruising in my ribs, stomach, EVERYWHERE!!! A bus could have ran me over and I think it would have felt better, or better yet starving myself would be much easier!! It only took about 4 days to be able to walk again, and today I went to YOGA for the first time. Much easier....I can concentrate on streching and breathing but MAN I must be out of shape! I am planning on going to the "conditioning" class again tomorrow with hopes that the "girl teacher" will be a little easier or that one of these days it will get easier and my body will be able to handle it! I really like Yoga though!

Other than that, I went out for a friend's birthday on Friday night at a bar in Queen Anne. Sunday, we gave Mona (the cat) a bath. Have you ever given a cat a bath? It is super funny! I have some pictures that I will post when I have more time. Oh....and did I mention I met a guy??? I am not answering any questions yet... we will see how next weekend goes.

I am soooooo excited to come home in a couple weeks. I will keep everyone posted. I have been thinking of possibly switching the location from the InnKahoots to BonFire, where they have the Dueling Pianos. Any thoughts?
