Update

Well, a little update....

Okay, so it went something like this, after a VERY busy first week of work;

I got to work. I was the first person in the office and I opened my email. And then....there it was. Bank of America had bought Countrywide. At first I was like, SHIT...Somebody else better get here, because people are going to start calling asking what the hell is going on. Everyone in the office was shocked it was happening and I didn't know...I am the new girl, leave me out of this. But then, I was started to get a little nervous. I am a week and one day into my job, and do I need to be worried??? So, I spent half the day in and out of conference calls and as of right now, I am safe. The merger will not happen until Q3 at the earliest, and they say there will be no changes until Jan. 09. (so, I hope I am good for at least a year!) Right when I find the best job!!! Remember....Life is full of curves!

I also hit a some what (okay - not really!) road block when last week, I got a flat tire! This was not only a flat tire(well it was), but here is the story. Second day driving to work and not taking the bus. I worked a little late and Carley and Megan called to say they were waiting at the bus. So, I told them I would give them a ride. They walked to my work, which is only 2-3 blocks. We go and get my car and drive off. Then, this girl is knocking on her window and Megan and I look at her. I think Megan was like, "Is my scarf hanging out of the car?" To which the girl replied...."Your tire is completely flat!" SOB - It is 5:30 and we are downtown SEATTLE. It is not like you are in Albertville, Plymouth or Hamel and can just pull over to the side of the road!!! Pulled in a parking lot, which Carley guided me to, and I called AAA. (thank god for AAA) We were back on the road again within 30 minutes and I felt super bad that they didn't take the bus, but was also really greatful that they were with me. I handled the situation well and wasn't to upset. (It was JUST A TIRE- RIGHT) DON'T GET MAD AT THE SMALL THINGS IN LIFE!

I do have to admit - I did get a "little" cranky when I had to sit at Firestone on Sunday for like 3 hours. They told me my car was done after like an hour, but I was blocked in by a car that was jacked up, so I had to wait! Not only that, but my tire was not replaceable and I had to buy a new one! My crankiness only lasted about an hour!!

I went out both Friday, Saturday and Saturday night without Megan and Carley. I have made some friends! Yeah! Damn SEAHAWKS though! They lost on Saturday to the PACKERS! I hate the Packers! We went bowling on Sunday, which I need to work on. The lanes just aren't the same here! I don't know if it is the oil or the beer????
Having a good time, like the job, and things are going good.

PS. It is really bad to work in Mortgages! Now, all I think about is what I need to do or save to buy my own house!

Miss Everyone!! I am hopefully trying to have a short 3 day visit in March over my B-day!
